Swimming Holes & Waterfalls
Cool off at some of the best swimming spots in southwestern Utah, like Toquerville Falls, Sand Hollow, and Red Cliffs Recreation Area. Many of these areas feature hiking trails leading to natural swimming pools beneath stunning waterfalls.
Stand-up Paddleboarding
Explore the serene waters of Quail Creek, Sand Hollow, and Gunlock Reservoirs on a stand-up paddleboard. These locations offer rentals and lessons, making them perfect for beginners and experienced paddlers.
Quail Creek State Park
Quail Creek, just 12 miles from St. George, boasts warm, glassy waters ideal for boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. It’s especially popular for rainbow trout fishing.
Sand Hollow State Park
A favorite for boating, swimming, and paddleboarding, Sand Hollow's large lake also features red sand beaches and stunning rock formations. It’s a top spot for waterskiing and fishing.
Gunlock State Park
Gunlock offers a quieter atmosphere with kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing in a scenic setting. The spring waterfalls below the dam add to the park’s natural charm.
Kolob Reservoir
For a cooler retreat, visit Kolob Reservoir at 8,107 feet, which is perfect for fishing, kayaking, and paddleboarding in a tranquil, forested environment.
Slot Canyon Adventures
